Mike Gibeau was no stranger to hard work! Born and raised in The Ottawa area, Mike Gibeau moved to Clarence Creek at age 17 and lived on a Hobby Farm. His business resume included both Skyline CableVision and Bell Canada. At just 20 years old Mike Gibeau had started his own underground utilities business that eventually employed over 55 people and his client list boasted Bell Canada, Ottawa Hydro and the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton – to name a few! Semi retired by 38 Mike Gibeau again showed his entrepreneurial spirit – opening a modular home business which focused on sales and installation. Around the same time,

Mike decided it was time to get into Real Estate and the rest is History. Mike Gibeau had started his Real Estate career at Royal LePage in Orleans, and was instrumental in opening their Rockland office. In 1997 he transferred to Coldwell Banker and has been a consistent award winner ever since (Including #1 in Canada!) Married for 36 years to his wife Dianne, Mike Gibeau was proud to work alongside his son Julien and daughter Anne. Real Estate has definitely become The Family Business. It was with great sadness that the Gibeau Realty Team announced the passing of Mike Gibeau. Mike Gibeau wished for the business he spent years building to remain a vibrant part of the Rockland and area real estate scene.
